      1. Select any three slides and view them with the aid of the microscope. Be sure to use all of the objectives and note the degree of magnification. Please read the "Care and Use of Microscopes" handout.

      1. Epithelium (Look for high cell density, little or no matrix – these are covering/lining tissues, so they will be bordered by nothing on one side)
